I'm excited to see Ellen Allien for the second time soon. I skipped her last appearance here because: 1) I did not want to listen to the umpteen trance DJs before and after her and 2) I am aging and staying up until 6 AM does not bring me any jollies. Damn. I wish I was gonna be around but i'm not gonna be out there till june 3rd. I did see ellen allien once in new york and it was so crazy. I wasn't entirely in the mood which was unfortunate, but it was still pretty awesome. And actually the first time I heard ellen allien was when you were spinning records at route 9 collective.

Oh, that's too bad that you're going to miss her by about a month!

The first time I saw her, she spun at a place that didn't have a cabaret license, so dancing was discouraged. She's playing a full-on club this time, so it will be nice to dance.

That's so sweet you remember hearing her first through me!
