I had like 50 people recommend Death Note to me in a row, and when anime gets mentioned to me by many people in a short span of time I usually take that as some sort of sign that I should watch it (exceptions: Bleach and Naruto, both of them seem kinda meh to me and I'm picky about anime ( Read more... )

I read the manga. The first half was quite good, the second was poo. But this is just my opinion, you might like it.

Yeah, I saw that there were close to 40 episodes in the anime which means that there's plenty of time for it to take a nosedive from where it's at now. lol
