About 60 of the Batch "A" eggs hatched. These were laid on 7/19. As I was expecting it to be the normal 10-14 days before they hatched, I have no food plants here right now. Since they need to be fed within about 12 hours of hatching, it looks like I'll have to go for a drive tonight. *sigh*

is this a never ending cycle or do they have seasons where they do/don't hatch?

When these caterpillars go into cocoon, they may decide it's too cold and wait until spring to emerge.
