so my mom and i just got in a huge fight over my brother mostly, there was a little bit of my dad in there and some other odds and ends. it is so incredibly hard to be dealing with this underlying problem all the time. what i mean is the fact that i know my mom hates odessa and the people there, especially my dad. i know she doesn't like the way

what doesn't kill you makes you stronger!!! I love you and everything will be ok! It may never go away. I think that your mom keeps asking where you are gonna go after college b.c she will be alone if you leave and I think that she would be very depressed if you were that far away from her. Maybe she feels like if she talks bad about your dad/odessa that maybe you wont want to live over there after college ya know. I don't think she wants you to leave her. But shoooooot I don't know that's just my opinion! But I love you and I will see you on the friHO floatin' with no worries and no cares!!!!!

kat is right. shes just bad mouthing odessa and your dad in the hopes to change your views and to get you to dislike those things. its obviously not going to work because 1. its your family and 2. its odessa, where you grew up. you love that place.

this situtation sucks a lot. and you're right, it may never go away. but maybe some day something will click with your mom and she'll figure out what shes doing to you.

your mom just wants it to be like when the 3 of you were all living together in that same house. thats why she always brings up 'well, thats what i told him in 8th grade when he moved...' she'll realize some day, that you guys are in college and about to start your new lives...where, we dont know. but shes going to have to accept it sometime. and she will, eventually.
