Wow, that's hot! You've definitely captured that fantastic passion and the compulsion and mixed hate and want which makes for the best Rod/Draco relationships. I love the way you build it all from the song and that Quidditch match in canon where Ron finally starts to construct his confidence. You describe Draco's mixed up motivations and confused thoughts really well.
It would probably be a good idea to use an lj-cut on this and make sure it's got an obvious R rating, so younger people don't read it by accident.
If you want a beta reader for any future fics in this pairing, then I'd be very happy to help: wwmrsweasleydo at gmail. com
Good god, I'm a retard sometimes - it took me a while to figure out how to reply to a comment rather than just add another comment. Ready for extinction, me... :P So this is what I tried to say:
Thank you for the compliments :) - I really appreciate it. I have a healthy ego, but hey - I'd be a right idiot not to blossom when someone boosts my confidence like this. *is blooming right now* And further - thanks even more for the good advice. I'm kind of a newborn here on the LJ, so when you mentioned LJ-cut, my mind went "bleep?". But I informed myself about it and solemnly swear not to do an idiocy like this again. I really need to get into the mechanics of editing and LJ management before I post some more. Also, I will gladly accept your offer for beta-ing - Lord knows I need it :P and you're kind of the master of the trade. ;)
OMG I wrote 'Rod/Draco'. Whoever Rod is, he can keep his hands off Ron's Draco.
You're not a retard. LJ is bloody complicated. It took me months after I created my account to work out how to post anything on it, and then the first comment I ever got on there included the advice to use an LJ-cut. It's confusing here, but I've found it to be worth working out. Welcome!
Yeah, I found out I kind of like it, ergo my own profile, otherwise I would've stayed a silent observer. :) Since I'm clearly set on bugging you and we've already established that I'm a bit of an idiot when it comes to LJ - can I ask you for one more thing
