Love how you've made Nanao and Lisa's relationship. It's really a shame Kubo never put them back togther in the manga. Hopefully he will in future. But glad they are friends in youre instead of rival, like in others, or lisa is a b***. Lisa might be frank and a little bit of a perv but she was never a b*** or she would've never got close to little nanao in the first place. Also can't wait to see what happens when Shunsui finds those books. ;)

I'm glad you enjoyed Nanao and Lisa's relationship in this chapter! There were like ten chapters worth of meetings and scenes Kubo skipped over at the end of the HM Arc, and Nanao and Lisa's reunion is one of them, sadly.

But I do think Nanao and Lisa would be friends or at least have warm feelings towards each other; I don't enjoy stories where they are really rivals or Lisa is awful.

It's been unusually silent and you've been such a regular updater. I hope everything is okay with you. <3 This story is great and I know a lot of people are anticipating the next chapter. Thanks for writing it. :) :)

Oh, thanks! I'm okay, but this story has been delayed a bit because I wanted to do some edits on some of the posted chapters, and it's taken longer than I anticipated. (I started weeks ago, before Lisa's chapter.) These will be small changes that don't impact the plot, tweaks mostly to Nanao's characterization between chapters 4 and 12 or so, added dialogue, maybe 3-5k words total. I didn't really track it too closely when I wrote the additions and made cuts. I just got to the end of the story and needed Nanao to have more spark for the final events. I don't know if people would really notice the differences, but I felt compelled to make changes. XD The edits are basically done in draft but not posted, so I will need to get the chapters swapped out, and I wanted to do it before posting the next chapter ( ... )

I'm just glad you're okay. No rush at all on those chapters. I'm sorry if it seemed like I was a bit demanding. I just wanted to speak my appreciation not just for your writing (which is of course wonderful and I wish this fandom was bigger so more people could appreciate it) but also for your consideration of your readers.

The edits are up now, so at least that's done. It was longer than I expected to finish them and get them all up. But hopefully I can get this story wrapped up fairly soon!

I hope you are well, and are able to update this beautiful fic soon. No pressure...it is well worth the wait. The chapters are so rich they are like truffles and the feels are like champagne!

Thanks for your kind words! I'm well, and I hope to update with the next chapter early next week. I have been making some edits to earlier chapters (see my long comment to Anon above for details ^_^;) and I need to swap out some chapters this weekend. The next chapter is important and I really want it to be right, so I'm going to go over it a couple more times and make sure that it's balanced properly ( ... )

That is all good news to me. You are writing, writing, writing! I, too, would probably re-work a story to get it like I want it. It is hard work for me to write because I am such a perfectionist.

I would enjoy reading just about any of your pairings - I am an old lady and not so much into fandom as just enjoying good characterization, plot development (and I love your voice!) in stories about characters that intrigue me as much as those in the Bleach universe. Let me know when you post or hook me up to the page that would let me follow your updates. I don't remember much about how the LJ notifications work! o..O

Well, you can bookmark my LJ page and check for updates that way, or if you have an LJ account or make an LJ, you can friend me and that would let you see all of my public entries on your Friends page. (Actually all of my entries are public, and I wouldn't ever post any writing privately.) That's probably the most convenient way to follow several different communities/people. I think you can probably do more complex things with notifications, but I confess I don't really use them much.

Alternatively if you have a Fanfiction.net account, you can put an Author Alert on to be emailed when I post something, and AO3 lets you Bookmark and Subscribe to stories as well, I believe. (I don't use their features as much myself, so I'm not 100% sure.)

Are you making those edits because of some critisism? Because if so, just rember to let your story go how you want it to, not because of how someone else thinks it should.

Thanks for your question! Primarily I've made edits because I needed Nanao to read slightly differently for my ending to work, and that was something I decided independently. But if I'd gotten useful criticism, I would have taken that into consideration, as well ( ... )
