That is not necessarily true. You are more of a chameleon due to the protocol that makes you want to please many different people.

Me, I have plenty of friends who aren't human, but do fine at being
loyal and caring. Looks at her pointedly.

I am uncertain. I prefer to be myself. However, I should, at least, learn more about emotions so that I can integrate better into a human society.

Having met many aliens, I do not believe that one needs to be human to be loyal and caring.
