The longest period playing videogames, maybe 4-5 hours but that's a guess and I've rarely played the same game for that period of time, if I ever did that at all.
If I deny it...it's addiction...evildougDecember 8 2010, 11:40:01 UTC
...so I'll confirm it and, therefore, it is NOT addiction.
Once played through the original Legend of Zelda in it's entirety in one sitting when I was younger. Ah, memories...
Unfortunately...can't devote anywhere NEAR the amount of time we once did as we have to wait until the kids are asleep. But, a 4-5 hour chunk is still common 'round here...especially when Uncharted multiplayer has a double cash (equivelant to double experience points) weekend.
I remember that. I forget the plot of that game but I'm pretty sure either Bob or Loren was running. I think the hold up probably had something to do with a door, stupid doors.
I might have crashed out on the floor for a short nap, I had a tendency to do that when my character wasn't doing anything and/or it was cloak weather (ie: hey! I have a blanket!).
Also, I'm totally addicted to chapstick. The longest I've been without in the last 10 years has been 3 days and those were hell.
The night I'm thinking of consisted of two different games. We finished the first one around two or three in the morning, took a little break, and then continued with a completely new game/GM.
I always have to have ChapStick with me as well, though I don't use it every day. But whenever I don't have it, I need it. :P
I remember several twofer nights where I emerged from underground confused and blinking in the daylight.
My most memorable (or least eventually) was my first. The night before we went to that Slanted Fedora con with Ray. I had just enough time to head back to my dorm and change before scurrying back to meet up at the union.
I also remember that I had already been sleep deprived prior to the all night gaming and spent the whole con loopy (more so than usual). I believe that I embarrassed the lot of you by insisting on going through the playplace when we stopped for breakfast.

That sounds like fun! How long did it take you to go through the whole thing?
