Some little kid was in an empty cube almost all day yesterday playing a hand held video game. I saw him every time I left the dev room. Kid was quiet, though, didn't go running around or make noise. Went up to Fort Wayne with Meredith this weekend to celebrate her father's birthday. It was a nice, peaceful, trip. We visited the botanical garden on Saturday, which included a temperate forest, rain forest, and desert area. I really enjoyed it, very beautiful. I could probably write an essay on our better qualities. There's a lot I appreciate about mankind.

However, I think our worst quality is our irresponsible breeding habits.
