Any place where I have not had previous really good dates with other people! I would feel all weird about it, like I was trying to replicate a previous experience and that would make me nervous and overthink stuff and UGH.

Probably The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay by Michael Chabon. Love that book. I'm cheating in that it is nominally about people who make comics, although all the characters are only very loose analogues of actualy comic book creators in the thirties. Great book!
