5 - Candy

Taylor eagerly unwrapped her gift with a grin.
Ryan glanced at Seth who gave him thumbs up before unwrapping his gift.
“If you give her something like that it pretty much says that you’re willing to stick it out with her throughout college even though you’re on different continents, but if you give her something like candy it’s nice, tastes good, and doesn’t have any connotations about commitment,” Seth had told him.
“What did you get?” Summer asked.
“A locket,” Taylor breathed, hazel eyes sparkling as she looked at Ryan and pulled him into a kiss.
“Candy,” Seth replied brokenly.
