If there were auditions for the next Dawn of the Dead movie, I'd have no problem winning the role of "Undead Woman #1". I am absolutely exhausted today. Insomnia does suck! I had it for a loooong while before I got sick, and now it's like I can't sleep enough. *sigh* No happy medium.

But Vicki is a pretty good reason not to get sleep. ;)

Wow Mary, you would never be able to live beside me. I have music going all the time when I get home from work.. in the middle of the night. Granted, I have it at a reasonable volume, and my CD player is in the computer nook.

Anyway, yeah, I hate when that happens. I remember I used to have a wind-up alarm clock and one night the ticking was driving me bananas. I ended up moving it to the kitchen, and I could *still* hear it. I had to smother it with a pillow before I could sleep!

I feel your pain. Anytime I hear that 'thump,thump, thump' it makes my heart beat out of rhythm.
