Oh believe me they're all open.

For ever small amount of cool air that comes in, there's a lot more continual amount of heat being produced.

I am sorry to hear that your home has since become an oven; nothing sucks worse than being hot and not being able to cool off. At least if you're cold, you can bundle up with more clothing. When you're hot, there's only so much you can do to cool down.

Maybe the heating system will break? =\
