Congratulations, KOS-MOS. [ Thinking this over. He wears his on the inside of his jacket. ] I guess I don't display them because I don't need to. Seems a bit ostentatious, considering the pokemon do all the work.

Thank you, Leon. *She carefully places a hand on the Houndoom's head as it barks again.* All factors considered, I agree with your appraisal. However, I believe it would largely be seen as inappropriate to attempt to pin them upon the Pokemon instead.

*Since clearly if she shouldn't wear it, they should.*

You want your pokemon to wear them? [ That's not unreasonable. He thinks. ] You could put them on collars or pendants, I guess--they'd risk breaking in battle, though.

That is true... It is regrettable they are not made from a more durable material. I am certain my Houndoom would take great pride in having the proof of his victory constantly on display.

*As if to confirm this, he lets out another loud bark! So noisy, this dog.*

It could just be that some people don't like having to deal with pinning and unpinning every time they change clothes. Or they're just lazy-- who knows?

Do those here truly change clothes that often? From my observations of the network thus far, most individuals wear the same outfit on a daily basis.

True, you don't get much of a chance to change outside.

Furthermore, I do not see the necessity in such an action...

*It is hard to understand when you don't sweat or anything like that*

...I don't know, wearing these Badges seems a bit too flashy for me.

. . . flashy? In what way would it be considered as such?

Well, for one, people might think that you're looking for attention by showing off your badges everywhere.

Is that not their intended purpose? To have "proof" you have conquered the gym?

Maybe no one's proud about badges they earn while they're kidnapped?

I just know they're good for using.

They're just pretty to look at if you ask me!

Indeed. There is no questioning the fact they are well made and visually appealing.

I wonder how decided to create this system involvin' gym battlin' and gettin' badges...

Do ya think that there's gonna be stronger opponents to face if we defeat the gym leaders?

It is not a possibility that should be ruled out. However, if there was such an opponent, would he not be known by this point?
