When we started this project we wrote and wrote and wrote, some full songs some partial and bits and pieces, we were trying to come up with our sound. I think this song was a big leap to that. This song started its life as The Anti Song, which was on our third demo. I cannot remember it that much as I have not heard it in years. I have a copy on tape and a crappy live recording on VHS, so many moments lost in time before the digital age. I do remember it had a 16th note kick line that was accented by an 808. There are times in every band where certain songs define things, this one does this for Fockewolf. This was the first one written for the cd and it marked a bit of change in programming on my part and set the tone for the cd. This is due to getting a Nord Lead1 and a Quasimidi Ravoultion 309. So a week until my next trip. I always have mixed feelings right before I go, excitement and not wanting to go. Not sure why the second one. I am sure I will have fun, it is looking up to be a busy trip, 4 countries in 10 days.we are going to be moving the whole time. I am looking into the next one in fall.

I was supposed to go to Peru but that got cancelled right before we booked everything, it would have been an expensive trip. I still wanted to go out of town as did the other I was to travel with so after some discussion we decide to go to Mexico. For my 40th I wanted to take a trip so Belize and Guatemala were the choice. We fly into Belize city then took a smaller plane to the island San Pedro. This is another Rompler synth, the sounds are samples instead of oscillators. This in my opinion not very programmable. I know that you can do more with it but at the time, without a computer editor, this really was a pain in the ass. This is on the second demo and the intro of the first Cd. Its a simple noise collage, the main sound is a sample from The Lawnmower Man. The sound is processed in two ways in the Emax and play several octaves off from each other. THere is some heavy filtering going on.
