heh, abandoned places are indeed lots of fun. when i lived in san pedro (before i moved to santa barbara) there were lots of old abandoned military bunkers and whatnot. it was fun to go wandering around in this old underground museum which had tunnels blocked off and abandoned. there was even an old abandoned (small) military airport which had old missle silos and whatnot. fun times. of course, its all housing developments now :(

trolling the livejournals and random links of everyone is fun and can lead to some cool discoveries like that artist you found

It's a shame those places get torn down... but it encourages me to go out and find them before that happens...
