It was. For the first time in this campaign there were no fights at all, just a series of roleplaying scenarios with skill challenges attached. Apparently the Embassy scenario had the potential to turn very bad for us had we failed the skill challenge, but we scraped through (despite my character's rather forthright and open form of diplomacy. The Ambassador was only talking to the elf and ignoring the rest of us, see).
