its time once again for my semi-annual update to my livejournal. I appologise in advance that this hasnt been the most exciting of years so far. Mostly just working on my thesis, and the standard going out/going to shows. Here goes

A 14er is one of colorado's 53 named peaks extending over 14,000 feet. At the top of a 14er, theres snow year round, and it also falls year round. Its definately not an easy climb, but the views at the top of one of these things are certainly worth the effort.
no...it mostly gets worn off the trail by people hiking on it, but in a few places one has to go through it, and its more ice than snow by july, so its also painful...I sank into some at one point and scraped my shin all up.
