“Pleaseeeeeeeeeeeee~” Jin gave Ueda his puppy eyes.
“Why me?” Ueda got ready to go home, ignoring Jin who follows his every move.
“Because you don’t like sweet!” Jin said, dragging back Ueda to their dressing room with pulling Ueda’s sleeve forcefully.
Ueda gave up. “Seriously, what happens Jin? You love sweet, right? So why are looking so freak out as if someone wants to offers you sweet food?”
“Look at me!” Jin pointed to himself or more exactly to his stomach. “I am not sexy anymore! I am getting fat again! Kazu doesn’t want fat Jinjin. He wants Sexy Jinjin!”
Ueda rolled his eyes. “I don’t care! Go away from my way!”
“NOOOOO!” Jin banged close the door, preventing Ueda to go.
“I can’t take it anymore. I am not a bear who could eat all the food! I will go super fat if I come to his house everyday to taste his foods! So you have to replace me to go to his home, eating every food that he cooks!” Jin blabbered.
“I thought it’s your heaven to get a free food every day,” Ueda teased.
“A big No this time,” Jin shook his head. “Kazu will kill me if I gain weight even for one kilogram only!” He showed Ueda his horror expression.
Ueda sighed. “Then I ask you again, why it has to be me?”
“He cooks mostly sweet. It is training to his movie. And oh, it’s because you don’t like sweet, so you won’t eat all of them. Moreover you do sport which could make you keep as slim as you are now.” Jin said, giving Ueda a paper with an address. Ueda couldn’t read it at first because Jin’s writing style was like a doctor’s. Ueda looked up to say something to Jin after reading it, but Jin was already nowhere in sight. Ueda sighed. That baka was always the number one in running away.
Ueda got into his car and then drove off the said address. The faster he eats those sweets, the faster he would go home. He wondered why he agreed with this. Well, they were going home early anyway, and it sounded so nice to eat a free food once in a while. He stopped his car in a parking lot in front of a high apartment. It was just an ordinary apartment, but the inside told the contrary. It was sure a place for people with a lot of money.
Ueda pushed the door bell and got a simple ‘come’ feedback from the owner. The door was opened and then they both were stunned. They frowned as they looked at each other.
“Who are you?” They said in the same time.
“I am Nishikido Ryo,” Ryo said, not knowing why he introduced himself to a stranger.
Ueda gasped. “OMG, so it’s really you,” he said in disbelief.
Ryo gave him a glare. “Then what? Sorry lady, I don’t have time to chat with you,” He said and turned to go back to his home.
Ueda was shocked. “Lady? Me?”
Ryo stopped. His hand was in the knob of his door as he looked at him. “If you aren’t a lady, then what are you? A fairy?” he joked. He saw a star immediately after getting punched by Ueda. He stroked his abused jaw, looking at Ueda in surprise. “Okay, I know who you are. Just you who will give me hard punch if I make a fun of your fairy words,” Ryo glared at him.
Ueda rolled his eyes. “Thank you for remembering me.”
“It’s Jin, right?” It was not a question, but a statement. He stepped aside, making a space for Ueda to come in.
Ueda nodded. He felt weird because Ryo invited him to his house though Ryo did not say it. He waited until Ryo closed the door. They did not say anything when Ryo lead them to the kitchen. Ueda was wow-ing because Ryo’s kitchen was amazing! His eyes rounded in surprise upon seeing how the table was full of sweet. There were so many cakes with different shape and color.
“You cooked these alone?” Ueda asked in amusement.
Ryo scratched his hair, “Yeah. You wanna taste it?”
Ueda smiled. “It’s the reason why I am here.”
Ryo grinned. He was glad it was Ueda who was here, because if it was Jin he needed to tie Jin or fight with first before forcing him to eat the sweet. He cut a strawberry cake and then put a slice of it in a small plate. He gave it to Ueda and brought him to the living room.
“Why don’t you eat too?” Ueda asked, sitting on a black couch. He drooled over the cake. He eat a spoon of it and then smiled widely.
“I don’t have any appetite after cooking all day,” Ryo said, turning on the television. He sat beside Ueda and smirked when he saw Ueda’s smile. “I bet it’s delicious,” He said smugly.
Ueda did not find a reason to lie. “Yes. I like it. Can you give me another slice of cake?” He asked.
“Of course you can.” Ryo stood up, walking to the kitchen and got back with a full plate.
“I bet I’ll be as fat as Jin if I come here every day.”
Ryo laughed. “I am curious how you will be like in a fat body. You are such a princess anyway.”
“Dare say I am a princess again, this fork will land on your ass,” Ueda threatened.
“Woaaaa, it’s so scary. A princess is not cute when gets angry,” Ryo teased and he ran as fast as he could because Ueda was cashing him with a fork in his hand.
Five minutes later they ended up on the couch, panting and still trying to fight against each other.
“Hey, it’s the first time we have a fight after our time in shounen club was over,” Ryo said, hiding the fork behind him so Ueda could not attack him.
Ueda smiled. “It was a long time ago, and you are still as bastard as before.”
“Thank you,” Ryo grinned. “You know I did not mean to hurt you, right?”
Ueda took another slice without asking for Ryo’s permission. The cake was really so delicious. He licked the cream as he answered, “You didn’t hurt me physically, but mentally.”
Ryo frowned. He stared at Ueda when the older sat back beside him. “What do you mean?”
“Hm?” Ueda put the plate on his lap then placed his palm against Ryo’s chest. “There. You hurt my heart,” He said.
“Really?” Ryo was surprised.
Ueda smiled bitterly. “Yeah. You made me cry. A lot.”
Ryo did not know how to react of this. He did not know he hurt Ueda in a way he had never imagined before. He felt bad and guilty.
Ueda noticed Ryo’s uneasy expression, so he tried to lighten the mood, “It’s okay, Nishikido,” He said and froze when Ryo kept his palm on the previous spot. “Um…can you let go my hand?” Ueda felt nervous suddenly. He pulled back his hand from Ryo’s hold forcefully.
Ueda yelped when his hand hit the cake on his lap. The cream smeared on his hand. Ueda wanted to wash his hand, but Ryo pulled his hand so he fell to the couch again. “Auw,” Ueda whined for the hard falling. He looked around to find a box of tissue, but Ryo did the move first. Ryo cleaned the cream with his tongue.
“What the? Stop it, Nishikido. Are you insane?” Ueda tried to stop Ryo, pulling his hand away but Ryo’s grip was so tight.
“Forgive me,” Ryo whispered. He stopped licking and stared deeply into Ueda’s eyes. “I promise I’ll make everything up to you. Can we be friends?”
Ueda could not believe his ears. “Am I dreaming?”
Ryo chuckled. “No, princess.”
Ueda pressed his palm to Ryo’s face in annoyed. In a time like this Ryo still wanted to tease him. It was such a waste to get a doki-doki because of this bastard. Ueda laughed when he saw how Ryo’s face covered with cream from him hand. Ryo groaned. He poked the cream cake and smeared it onto Ueda’s face too.
“Stop it!” Ueda screamed but he could not stop laughing. It was the first time he enjoyed fighting with this osakan.
“I won’t stop until you promise me you’ll come again tomorrow,” Ryo said between their fight.
“No way!” Ueda succeeded decorating Ryo’s whole face with the cream. He laughed when Ryo pouting. “Okay, I’ll come,” He surrendered. Who would not melt seeing Ryo-chan’s pout anyway?
“Thank you,” Ryo said happily, and went to get more cream to continue their fight. They did not know that it was a fate for them to meet again. They would learn how to be friends after the years of fighting. Then how about learning to be lovers? It would be really interesting journey.
