*lol* Living in Wolverhampton, I know what you mean. I lived literally two streets away from a football stadium for three years. Now I live six or seven streets away. You can still hear the crowd though. I got used to ignoring the the crowds of fans walking down the street after the matches though.

I wouldn't like to live near the stadium, but I love walking through the crowds and picking up on the energy they give off.

I always tended to be sitting at the kitchen window watching them walk past, occasionally getting leered/catcalled at - though it was amusing to have very quick conversations with them as they walked past, seeing who had won.
