Make that more like 1 to one and a half months, since she needs the place empty if she is to show it to rent to others, which means I need to be out earlier

I have a friend in Lowell who needs to share her house to comfortably pay the mortgage. She has a housemate now but would like to be able to ask them to leave ASAP as they keep doing things like not remembering to lock the front door for days in a row. Rent is 600 plus utilities. She has cats, so unfortunately no dog, but you could probably have rats or a bun in your room.
We also have a 4th room here in Waltham we've been trying to rent for some time, though in theory we're in negotiations to have one housemate's SO potentially move in. This is a matter of complex poly fraughtness and has been hanging in the air for some time; I could ask them to try to make a decision soon if you didn't find anything else. Rent is also about 600 plus utils (the house rents for something ridiculous like 2435 because our landlord, gods forbid, can never make the rent be something divisible by 4 or by 3). Unfortunately we can't have any sort of pets.
