You lay watching the snow fall down outside. It's been nearly four days since she left. Your ears twitch at the slightest sound, hoping she has returned at last. Each time, your dissapointment grows. You make a feble attempt to rise, but decide against it, sinking with a sigh to the ground. You lay your muzzle on top of your paws. They are ( Read more... )

Oh hey, you know, that tendency to write in second person that you seem to have is not exactly common. Where did it come from? Mr. Gaiman? Or your own sweet head?

Just curious... myself I have never written in anything other than first and third. But you seem to be quite good at the second person.

WHERE DID YOU GET THIS SKILL THAT I DO NOT POSSESS???

Yeah, that's been pointed out to me before. I've always written in second person as well as first and third. Actually, I prefer not to write in first in my stories. I dunno. It just sorta makes sense to me. I like being able to project actions and feelings onto my readers without completely taking over them. They are supposed to be able to think freely about what I'm having the think/do/feel. I try not to make it so detailed that my reader's creativity is stunted. I hope I am achieving that. When we were taking that homeschooling writer's class, I had this pointed out to me that I write this way. I guess it's okay. I try to expand and change, so I hope it's not the only way I write. Anyway, have a wonderful day. I have a meeting at the reg. high school at 1:50, so I may be home early or late, depending. See you tonight. After dad's b-day celebration, we can hang out if you like. *hugs*
