About me and my icons - taking requests

So... I've been lurking and reading for a while now, mostly Torchwood and Doctor Who fics. Figure it's time to give something back. And, well, I'm no writer, but I AM good with images. Ergo, an icon site. Please credit...

Ooo, I've been looking for someone to do icons for me (from my fics and otherwise) for a while. I know nothing about their construction or what you would need. I'll have to go through my stuff and see what I want, then I'll post a proper request. Thank you for the generous offer!

Oh thank you! For the lovely compliments and the offer. I have two reports due at work, but a long weekend to decide what I'd like. So I'll probably request a bunch, but get to them whenever you can--no rush!

If you join dj_capslock you will not be disappointed. I use both the sites you listed above for my screencaps too but the cappers at dj_capslock have much bigger caps which is sometimes helpful.

Thanks. I think I'll be using it a lot. It's much quicker for me to download the collections and then go thru them on my own system, then to step thru thousands of screencaps online.

This is the un!happy!face I was talking about. Though I never know about captions. Hmmm.

I also (can't believe I) don't have a Ten icon. I would like something where he's smiling with self-satisfaction, like he usually does when commenting on his own - or other people's - brilliance. But I can't find a picture that I like. :/

Yeah. Having all the screencaps online is fantastic, but it takes an incredible amount of time to go thru them. I figure I'm going to work on one episode at a time, as the mood (and available time) takes me, except for specific requests. I'll keep an eye out for a Ten icon, but by all means, let me know if you find one.

It's really hard to find decent Tosh icons. I don't need any particular episode, just a decent variety.

Sure. I like Tosh also, so I try to keep an eye out for good ones as I work thru an episode. I expect that Greeks Bearing Gifts, Last Man Standing and Adam should yield a lot. I'm going to be working on Journey's End next, but I can do one of the Tosh heavy ones after that.

Right now, you can find some good ones in the Something Borrowed collection, and a battered Tosh in Fragments.
