I sorta wanted him to go up again on that last note [it's Drew, you know he can!] Now, what to comment to convince him to put more Drew-as-Haremhab up ( Read more... )

I checked the uploader's channel on a whim and saw that there was a new video and got hyperexcited. :D I just wish they had let him scream the last note ;) [a la "Goood!" in Judas' Death].

Still. I totally agree, this man never ceased to amaze. :D :D

Obviously not Drew's fault, but there should really be more blocking with a song that exciting. Drew should have been allowed to roam around the stage more.

I want a high quality version of this...I can tell there's some serious Drew!arm porn going on and it's not clear enough for me!

Also, I agree. He should have screamed that last note. I don't know what these directors are thinking lol. Drew should *always* be allowed to exploit the amazing scream.

Rob Fowler did the scream. Wonder why Drew didn't... >.<

I think Rob and Drew vocally riff on the same point in the song [3:07 or so in Drew's version]. The last line, though, is a clipped delivery from both. I think Rob has the advantage of the better line, lyric-wise, for the end.

I think he probably was told not to scream it because of those 3 marcato notes orchestrated at the end [though I like his closing poses].

I agree re: blocking. I wonder if he got some pretty strong directives on what to do/not to do because there are some typical "aggressive Drew!" characteristics that he's not exhibiting here, as far as how Drew likes to move and hold himself as an antagonist.

Yes, higher quality would be awesome. I'm already so tickled that we get to see it at all though.

Other stuff... the lyrics in the bridge part of this song are awkward but the rising line "the stars will align/the throne will be mine" and then the first part of the chorus, "o gods above here I stand / I am at your command / let the strong prevail" work very well.
