Want Tattoo, Need Opinions

I have wanted a tattoo for a very long time. Lately, I have stopped considering whether I want to really get one or not and have started trying to decide on a place. I've always been afraid of the fact that tattoos are permanent. However, I just never thought about having something meaningful that you would never want to remove. I have finally

wish i could help, but i am still trying to figure out which HP tattoo(s) to get for myself! I have one tattoo already -- something i designed.. i'm in no rush to get my HP tattoo. I want to be really sure of it before i get it. Let's worry about it after DH...

DH is only a week away! I plan on getting it soon after, so I think it's time for me to start getting serious about it.

What HP tattoos are you considering? What is the one you already have? I want to know! =) I'm glad at least someone else on my flist likes tattoos! =D

I don't even know what i'm considering. Lol..
THe one i have isn't HP related.. I'm not really into tattoos, i just have ne :) i've got the equality of the sexes symbol i drew, which is my default icon..

I thought you were afraid of needles...i guess I was wrong. Anyway, I'm all for the wearing of the tattoos cant wait til i can afford the one i want...As far as what you want to get. I think an HP tattoo would suit you seeing as how you love it more than you love most people...:-P

Eh, tattoos are different. I still HATE shots and getting blood drawn. In fact, I refuse them. A tattoo, from what I hear, is a hot scratching/burning sensation rather than a stabbing/piercing sensation like I associate with most needles. Burning I can handle, the rest not so much. I generally have a high pain tolerance; it's the feeling of the needle inside my muscle/vein/etc. that I hate.

I have long thought that if I were to get a tattoo (not that I have any plans to do so) it would be a small lightening bold somewhere discreet. So I'm all for it. I'd do black, though.
