Sick - I has it! I was originally going to post about how miserable I'm feeling. I blame one of my PMs who hasn't been feeling well lately, went home early on Friday and called in this morning with either laryngitis or strep (he was going to the dr later this morning). 1) I've been told the following this week:
•I looked radiant - thank you tragerstreit•At a General Contractor's office where I go every couple of weeks since about July by the receptionist "I didn't know you are pregnant. Oh what a wonderful feeling!
Not really, but it sounds good, right? I think I may have some little bug clinging to my system, not enough to knock me out, but just enough to make life miserable. No, not Xander. And boy do I feel like I'm going to explode. Mostly things are great in the land of Pickle's womb - although I found out that the achy tight feeling I've been getting over the last couple of weeks is in fact Braxton Hicks Contractions. Weekend Wrap-up
Spent Friday night recouping from long first week of training temp. On top of normal pregnancy tiredness, add to it training someone who doesn't get things quickly and you have one exhausted pickle on your hands ( Read more... ) -
Sympathy
One of my lj friends, one who I feel very close to even though we never met, had to put down her dear kitty today. This has hit me incredibly hard and I'm still crying over it. Her furkid was to her, as Velvet was or Bazzykins is to me. At the end here, she had to make the same difficult decision for her precious as we did for Velvet, although ( Read more... ) -
Why God, why?
It is/has snowed. Yet again. As we were out at Home Depot when it started, I was very happy to be driving the 4 wheel drive vehicle. I know we didn't need the Exploder as Forlori would've handled it just fine, but it was an extra level of comfort knowing we had the better snow car.

I shoveled snow!
No, my husband didn't make me. I did it because I've never done it before and I wanted some exercise. I got the walkway between the truck and the exploder and about half of the remainder of the driveway cleared.
