i am apprehensive about what's going on in Israel and Lebanon.
i fear that this will beget something far, far more terrible.

it seems that the main export from the Middle East is violence
and i worry for the world's future.

Me too....WWIII is on the rise! Well, maybe not. But it would not suprise me in the least. I said years ago it would be Iran and Syria working in this whole mess, and now they're the ones funding it all. It worries me that the first years of our adulthood could be plauged by war possibly even here if it gets bad.

But the Islamic peaple are anticipating the return of their messiah esque person so perhaps they think this is the time for armageddon to start or something. Otherwise I don't see why they would be provoking a nation that is going to blow the ever living s*** out of them. Israel could probably flatten them all if they wanted to. But its all run by warlord so who knows what theyre up to.

meh, i dont know...

both sides are prideful, and both think that God is on their side. I have never been a big fan of Israel's trigger happy foriegn policy but Lebanon and other Middle Eastern nations dabbling in terrorism isnt actually a solution either.
