Better Care

So, I've been feeling uncomfortable with my OBGYN this entire pregnancy. It seemed that everytime I complained of anything or asked a question I was given the brush off. I don't think I've recieved "bad" medical care, it's just this, "hurry up and get the hell out of here, you're wasting my time" feeling I get instead. At the same time, I didn't ( Read more... )

Well thank goodness! Your body, your call! Of course, I shouldn't talk I keep going to this chick who likes to have a conversation with me to the point that she will stop what she's doing to look at me over my knees. Bleh. How go the reclusive blues?

I think something chemical happens during pregnancy that makes us question our judgment when it comes to doctors...
How I wish I'd listened to my own inner voice about "they aren't really listening to me" during Kira's pregnancy - if I had, I might not have almost died because they weren't listening as I suspected.

Glad you found a good new OB - but don't worry about not listening to your intuition in this case - I'm fairly certain it's due to the pregnancy brain!!
