I went home to Trenton to have an end of midterms party with Meredyth. Yeah, I know, I still have one midterm coming up this week, but it doesn't really count.

I want that car too. I've been in love with the Elises since I started driving. I think this car was what Beethoven had in mind when he wrote "Für Elise." ;-)

The squirrel photo is awesome.

Also, you caught the train at a great time for the background parts of the picture.

Cool

I couldn't believe what a photo-whore the squirrel was. I photographed him in that tree for about 3 minutes, the whole time he was totally playing to the camera.

i dont think i know you, but i stumbled upon your LJ browsing today and couldnt help but notice how professional and kickass your pictures look - in this as well as all the previous entries. i am a total sucker for quality photography. what kind of camera do you use? do you do a lot of digital post-processing?

Thanks!

I use the Canon 20D and love every moment of it. I think it's the best camera in the "prosumer" range, but I am partial to Canon. ;-)

As for post-processing, I shoot RAW and use Adobe Photoshop CS2 to convert. My typical routine is to crop, adjust curves, downsize, run an edge sharpening algorithm, and then convert to SRGB color space so I can save a JPEG for the web. If I'm doing nothing else to the photo, all this usually takes under 5 minutes.
