You should totally apply for a fullbright! The deadline has already past for this year but you should consider doing it next year. Talk to your advisor and do it through USF. Its for all areas of study all over the world, I wasnt sure if I should apply at first (b/c most people that apply are building houses for orphans with aids or something of that sort.) Anyhoo...If you came up with a good proposal I think you would have a really good chance. You could go to Japan, they like robots there!
I would say apply for Slovenia or Lithuania...since there are so few applications for those countries...but I dont think the best robotic research oppurtunities are availabe there:(
