... sit through long bouts of people talking about stuff you only half-understand with a notebook and a pen and nothing but days of time.
I'm getting comfortable with drawing full pictures in pen, and I'd say bob would be proud of me but he WOULDN'T not even considering I DREW A DUDE that he DRESSED UP AS and EMBARRASSED HIMSELF AS, because I sketched horribly on most of these, rather than doing fluid lines as he would rather I have done. BUT, I am really liking shading. And though the proportions are horrible, largely due to lack of any planning process and no eraser god no eraser whyyyy, I feel this is a positive step back into the drawing saddle. However, orientation ends this friday so I will be doing my actual job and not drawing at all. :{ unless it's on my lunch break. maybe if I had an hour but apparently I will only have a halfhour after orientation is done. :{:{ I will try to get drawing in where possible even still.
Good to note: my scanner is not hooked up here, probbly won't till I get my own place, which, depending on how well I do at my job... may be a while. I really have to be doing something to understand it, and unfortunately in this case doing something means destroying the lives of customers and/or my coworkers. :{
