This one will probably be smaller altogether though a larger post? I've done an unusually large amount of fanart recently, for me.

This is sort of two kinds of fanart, but at the same time not really fanart of either case. dan's art and art of chris's characters caused a bit of a kerfuffle when I first crossed the pond in april, so I made fun of dan's style by drawing chris's tomoko.

Probably back in may or june dan was approached by ayacon's organizer dude, who asked dan to do another banner, "maybe something steampunk." He mulled over it, but I knew right away what would make an awesome poster - a giant steampunk crab! He wasn't sure at first, but he gave it a try, and eventually ended up quite liking the idea. This is what I doodled as he was testing it out - clearly our ideas of what makes an awesome steam-powered crab are a bit different.

Orihime, who's design has been ripped off more than most in recent memory. I can't seem to go two steps on the internet without a character looking exactly like her - long straight strawberry blonde hair, innocent face, big boobs and barrette in all. If it ain't broke don't fix it, I guess, inoue's anime sexy, so might as well spread it around.

Talho Yuki, I was trying to get more interested partes on devart by drawing hot anime chicks, I admit. I don't need to justify my actions - been drawing for fifteen years and I still get no comments on most things I post. I think my standing record for something that wasn't a collaboration with dan is 4 individual comments. Part of the problem is I don't finish things, part of the problem is I don't post much, but even when I do finish things and post more frequently, I don't generate any new long-term interest. So yeah. Gonna pander, I feel no shame. Also nobody cared about this being Talho Yuki when I posted it anyway.

Homestuck - this wasn't an attempt to pander, not entirely, anyway. I'd just spent the past 4 days reading through the homestuck archives, so it was heavily on the brain.

Omar Little, some chick I found on google, maybe kirsten dunst? Dunno. And some disney-inspired stuff, generally attempting to develop a more western cartoon style. If you gis the Wire you will easily find the picture I was referencing for omar little.
