Was watching My Name is Earl during dinner, at the time. Wanted to draw a cig puffin redneck lady like joy.

Side profile, cute style, somewhat serious style. Trying to keep chicks thin, as my natural inclination is to base them off of my own broad, flabby body.

the scanner cut off a portion, but the left's head still wouldn't have been all there. Clearly what I mean by figure study with these is studying the style I want to draw bodies in, not real life studies, though I have done those as well. I suck at copying and don't learn anything from it, whereas when I take things I observe and apply them to what I already know, things tend to turn out far better.

Dan was watching for most of this. Not giving any tips, but making me a little nervous about performing well. The line near her mouth is actually supposed to be upper and lower lips, but it does rather look like a crappy anime mouth due to lack of clarity.

Trying to draw less neck, more shoulder action, but it just looks strange. like the feet, though.
