Totally Awesome!

I never thought I'd be saying that of VH1, but I am LOVING the show "Bands Reunited". Ohmigosh.....it's 80's heaven for me.

I saw Berlin, Romeo Void, and tonight is FLOCK OF SEAGULLS! Oh oh oh, I can't wait!

Last night's episode of  Behind the Music was good too, "when glam ruled the world"...and you know that's right up my alley.

I tuned in last night but quickly lost interest...while I liked Romeo Void a bit ("A Girl In Trouble" and "I Might Like You Better") I had no vested interest in seeing a reunion.
Do they show more than one band an episode?
I will definitely look into Flock of Seagulls...I saw them.
They opened for Squeeze!
Would have liked to see Berlin...

The whole hour is dedicated to locating and interviewing individual members from the feature band, then a reunion. For many it's been atleast 20 years since they'd seen each other last, so it can be a touchy situation, depending on how they left thing's. I've found it really touching, atleast in the respect that after all of this time and whatever differences they had then and on terms they left behind, all seem to be resolved upon reuniting again.

Makes me go to bed with warm fuzzy feelings.

Unfortunately I was a bit too young at the time, so I've never seen these bands in person and only own vinyl and tapes. So for me, it's a real treat to see old footage and to see them perform again....even if they are 20+ years older now.
