As back in the day, everyone seemed to be pretty excited about the preview of the special booklet and as xraishax kindly shared the scans in this post, I felt compelled to share the translation because if the pictures are pretty, the text is even more so, wistful and heart-warming all at the same time, and ahh, I just so love Kouga Yun ( Read more... )

Oh Soubi. /melts

Ritsu: But what is scary? Me or the whip?

This line is just... that's not a fair question, Ritsu-sensei! You're both scary, and you know Soubi won't answer either one! D:

As someone who has a lot of trouble with dialogue herself - the dialogue in Loveless really impresses me. It's hard to write, and to do it so consistently... I'll just be over here, joining you in the Kouga Yun love. ♥

(It can't be easy to translate, either. All the more reason to appreciate you oh so very much!)

Heartbreaking like nearly everything related to Soubi's past, I'm afraid. (Is the "nearly" even necessary, I wonder?)
Though in my opinion, the ending is really sweet because it's not at all clear which character is saying the last sentence. By all appearances, it's Ritsuka but it might as well be Soubi, suddenly adult again, or even both of them in agreement, and Soubi saying or agreeing to these words is heart-warming enough to outweigh the rest.

You're welcome~
