Concerning Seimei's Date of "Death" -- is this an error?

Jun 19, 2012 02:26

About a year ago in this community I was asked by someone where I got the reference that at the beginning of the manga it had only been two weeks since Seimei's "death".  Unfortunately for some reason when I tried to reply back to them this reply counts a spam (not sure why that is).

However, I really wanted to post this for them.

Original I had said ( Read more... )

ritsuka, discussion, seimei

well, I didn't realise about it, you see. I thought that Seimei died a few weeks or days before the beginning of the story but not so fast... In fact, we konw that Ritsuka is young (11 or 12 yo) but he seems younger actually at Seimei's burial... When Seimei dies, he looks like to be 7 or 8 yo... And I have to confess I was sure that Ritsuka was 12 and not 11... u_u''''' Am I the one to notice it? ^^'

Ritsuka was 12 in chapter 93 so you're not the only one to notice that, but he's certainly older than 8 at Seimei's funeral because he lost his memories when he was 10 (or just before turning ten).
Is your username a reference to Dir en grey's song Kasumi?

Yes... My full name on the web is Niikura Andô Kasumi so you're right... I'm an old Dir en Grey fan... And as you've got a pic of Shinya-san, I guess you're a Dir en Grey fan too... Kasumi is one of my favourite songs but not the only one... I suppose Shinya is your favourite member, isn't he? ^^

You couldn't choose between Die and Kaoru, so you went with both for your name, right? I'm a veteran Dir en grey fan too; I was into them before they became fixtures of the festival circuit and even before their first European concerts (ah, those were the times!), but actually, I'm really more into their oldschool VK albums. Their modern metal/metalcore influences never sat well with me (because I like my metal Black just like my coffee :p), but Dum Spiro Spero was kind of exciting, so for the first time since ages, I'm waiting with some impatience for their next release. Or rather, for the moment, I'm hoping with all my heart that Kyo will get his singing voice back. He has to.
I don't think that I have a favorite member though, this photo just makes for a great icon and hints to my favorite Dir en grey musical period and general liking for all the VK scene of that time.

Kasumi is one of my favourite songs but not the only one...
What are the other ones? :)

Wow, impressive detective work! Actually, I got notices for your comments in my inbox, so I guess they were screened because they contained links; all comments with links are apparently automatically marked as spam now in this comm ( ... )
