I decided to work with a local animal rescue group called Second Hand Hounds and do some fostering. I just finished my first experience. I had Bender the Wonder Mutt for 2 weeks.

Good for you; glad to hear that someone can give a dog something of a normal life whilst waiting for a full-time home. It has to be so overwhelmingly better than being kept in a kennel all the time.

I second Stubby's comment about the weights and stuff making a difference.
