Yes, Very tempted. But I already have a dog and 3 cats, which is about 2 pets too many. :)
With fostering I get to help animals in need find permanent homes, many of whom would end up euthanized with out help from the rescue group. Plus I get to try out different breeds. I'd have never gotten a Doxie on my own. It can be challenging, and I'm sad to see them go, but it feels good to help them.
Way cute. And I can definitely see the appeal of finding out what different breeds are like. Charlene wanted a bulldog for quite some time until she did some serious readin up on the breed. Certain physiological details shut that idea down right quick. It is annoying how poorly some people do in terms of planning what dog to get. Example - the idiots who don't have a clue just how big a Great Dane can get.
