I'm not an icon maker, but I really enjoy coming to this community and seeing all the beautiful icons that others make! :)

do you have any ideas/ suggestions or things you'd like to see in the future for this place?

People might be a little intimidated by making 50 or 100 icons for one challenge, or they might be too busy to sit down and really focus on it. So I really like the idea you had about smaller challenges; maybe if contests are held on a smaller scale, it'd be easier for more people to compete. :) If I can think of any ideas myself, I'll be sure to share them!
