Thanks to everyone who either e-mailed, text messaged, or IMed a New Year's greeting. So many of you really feel more like actual friends rather than just virtual acquaintances, and I truthfully appreciate that

Well I wish you a very happy new year and I hope that things do take off for you cause it will be better for you in the long run.. I have a cousin who also does journalism, not sports journalism and I've seen and heard the crazy things that it can have done to them and the hours and assignments. You have my sympathies, but sure you're enjoying overall what you do. Here's to you! :)
