i hate to say it babe, but it sounds like an absess....that's when the infection has reached down into your jaw and as far as i know, a root canal may help, but most often they go to extract said infected root. sorry toots, you know i feel your pain.

oh jax....i know it. i totally have been thinking of you this whole time too...cripes it sucks. i am self medicating (always fun) with motrin and some random antibiotics to hopefully kill the infection. it seems to be working for the time being, but maybe i am just getting used to looking like the guy in the phone commercial that gets bit by a bug and feeling like holy hell. insurance kicks in in september. it is going to be a long summer....
