That's cool. You make me wish I had more of a theme for Audrey. Someday I'll have to take pictures of Audrey's room, it's pretty cute, even if her walls look a little too much like neopolitan ice cream!

I have a love/hate relationship with themes...part of me just wanted to get something with dots or stripes or whatever but I love themed parties, so this just seemed like the only time in my life I'll ever get to have a room with a "theme" and I had to go for it. The challenge is to be thematic without being overwhelming.

Plus, the educational nature of everything is pretty exciting to me. (And I've always wanted a globe!)

I think it's cute. But themes only really work with kid's rooms or guest rooms.

I'm sure I'll be much better about decorating the kid's rooms later. When they can have their own room. We're going to be turning our spare room into a gym so the tv and stuff will come out of Audrey's room, but our bed will still be there and it just doesn't coordinate. I'd like her room to be hers, not ours.

i'll tell you an embarrassing secret... it was totally my night light before it was marti pearl's. yep, i'm totally scared of the dark so i sleep with a night light. :)

I'm so glad that it works well for that purpose!! Makes me feel even better about my somewhat impulsive purchase. I mean, I had been wanting one, but I didn't do a ton of research before buying one.
