Sounds like you two had a great time last weekend! That's exactly how Forrest and I felt when we went out for his birthday. Audrey was about three weeks old. She was great when my mom came to babysit. It was much easier back then, all she needed was clean diapers, bottles and to be held. Now she needs to play and be entertained and because she's teething she screams when she wants something. And she's very set in her routines. God help us if we miss a nap. You trade ease of care for personality and interaction.

Oh, here's a video of Audrey I took the other night. She totally says hello and it cracks me up. She's such a big girl, I can't believe it! She just started eating cereal, she's getting her first two teeth and she'll be sitting up soon. And she's growing so fast!! She's 3 1/2 months old and she's wearing 9 month clothes and she's about to be in size 4 diapers. She's huge.

Thanks! She's driving me crazy right now. She has to be entertained a lot when she's awake because there isn't a whole lot she can do herself. It's better now that she can reach for toys and actually play. But she gets bored easily. And it seems like she screams about 70% of the time. Teething is the worst ( ... )
