pinkpiper222 's birthday week conclusion post reminded me that I had not posted my own birthday stories, because I was too busy being "Little Miss Gloom and Doom" in the middle of the birthday weekend to get with the posting program.

Ok, so on Friday - my birthday proper - I woke up after getting a full five straight hours of sleep!  Lilah decided to sleep for ( Read more... )

Hm - I don't know if our Compadres is part of a chain or not. It's family owned, which I know isn't mutually exclusive of being part of a chain, but I'm glad to know that there are other awesome Compadres out there!

I am beating this cold down. I refuse to let it have me for more than a couple of days!

Hooray for a (mostly) awesome birthday!!

Dude. If you don't already have one, you MUST get a Wii Fit. We finally got ours yesterday and it is awesome! We bought a weight machine and an exercise bike for Christmas, but haven't used them much. We are totally using the Wii Fit. It's so much fun! I'm even enjoying the yoga. The only downside is that your little person is adjusted for your weight, so my chick is way fat. It's just more motivation to lose this baby weight!

We do have a Wii Fit! It is awesome. I actually got the Jillian Michaels personal trainer for Xmas. I am hoping to start figuring out how the morning routine so I can Wii Fit it up in the mornings and still get my shower and breakfast before Lilah is up for her "morning sessions."

Audrey spends most of the day awake, so it's hard to find time to work out. The thing I like best about the Fit games is that they're quick. I can put her down on the jungle gym and she gets to practice rolling while I work out right next to her. And when she freaks out because she can't get back on her back after she rolls on her tummy, I can flip her back over and it doesn't interrupt anything. Taking care of her was a super pain when riding the bike or using the weight machine. And the best part is that the hula hoop is fixing my pelvis! It was still separated and would be out of alignment when I woke up. But after just two days it seems to be all better! That alone makes it worth it!

1. Toppings bars are the greatest.
2. I have that same purse in red suede.
3. You look adorable in that photo.

Yeah, I'm all about some toppings. Yum.

I bet this purse looks awesome in red suede. It's funny, because it takes me extra long to pick out a purse from Coach, since one of my rules about purses is that they not have a bunch of logo crap all over them.

And thanks - I'm still pretty far from adorable, but at least it's not the worst picture ever taken of me :-D And after going for two years with no pictures of myself around my birthday, I thought enough was enough. :-)

Happy Birthday!!! Sounds like you had a great one. Great gifts and that cake looks like it should be in my belly. Glad you are feeling a bit better.
