To me, this is pure rude! When I looked at McDonalds as drive-thru cashier (we had face-to-face ordering), I always made sure I was as nice as possible, and if McDonalds was having a promotion I didn't know about we would just ask for a print off, then we would honor it for the rest of the day! That is ridiculous. Also we were required to clean the dining room constantly if we weren't extremely busy, and we always brought our buns in through the back, so customers never saw.

You did exactly the right thing with this post. This is ridiculous, and amusing in light of my recent experience with Krystal (and their delightful customer service people!). Especially since, in my message to their website, I threatened to "write about it in my blog, tell my friends about it, and take my spending money to Arby's."

Anyone who doesn't know what I'm talking about, feel free to check out my account of what happened to me: http://grosely-clerx.livejournal.com/258146.html#cutid1

Blogs and the like are a powerful weapon for the forces of customer service. I'll be avoiding Arby's from now on.

After getting sick two times in a row from eating at Arbys Sam and I have boycotted for over a year. I miss it every once in awhile, but its not worth getting sick and the bad service.

First, I think you should send this post to Consumerist.

Secondly, our Arby's is ghetto, on a corner surrounded on the other sides by vacant, crumbling lots. I have never sat down to eat there, but I've also never seen more than two people eating there at once. The one person at the registers always has that "been here less than a week" look.

Other than that, it looks relatively clean and it's certainly not as bad as the ghetto Burger King that used to be in my old neighborhood, where all the workers had the thousand-yard stare, having seen far too much ... I DID eat there, and hell, I acquired a five-hundred-yard stare myself...

Thirdly, what's the secondhand review on the sandwich that shall not be named:

I have started complaining about sub-standard service all the time! It's not for any particular reason, I just feel that I don't have to put up with poor quality and service.
