It's now been two weeks since my Daddy passed away. I've stayed with my Mom these past two weeks in West Virginia telling everyone that I was helping her get on her feet. Truthfully, I needed to stay. I needed my Mom just as much as she needed me

I admire your strength. I am close to my father and I can only hope that when the time comes, I will be as strong as you are.

It's been so hard. It has made me realize how short life is and to appreciate every minute of it. The last time I spoke with my Dad I told him that I loved him. It's so important to make every second count because you never know when it might be too late.

Rachel, you have definitely been in my thoughts and prayers over the past couple of weeks. I lost my dad 3 years ago, so I definitely understand the pain you are going through. Stay strong, and way to be there for your mom.
