2016 in review

So, I haven't done this for a while but I thought I'd do a review of my writing in 2016 and start to think about what I want to do in 2017.  I'm not going to follow the usual template but simply talk about my completed work.

I feel like I'm in the same situation as you about LJ. I have often thought about quitting here. But then.

I read a comment somewhere recently about LJ possibly shutting down. Ack! I am saving my stuff with the ljarchive tool so I at least have that. I also have a dreamwidth account but I've never done anything with it. Supposedly we can "copy" our LJ to there. For all I know, it's just as much a ghost town as here.

For what it's worth, I rely heavily on your Sam/Jack Shippy Moments list for when I make videos.

Lovely to hear from you and Happy New Year!

I kind of decided I would leave the LJ up (well, for as long as it exists!) but I'm not posting anything but links now fiction wise. Maybe I need to back up the Shippy List to AO3.

LJ does seem to have fallen into disuse by fandom for 'new' things and I've noticed more and more that links to LJs result in failure as people don't want to pay for something they don't use. It's a shame but then I felt the same when VHS was replaced by DVDs! :D

While I generally only read SG1 fanfic, I'd love to see you finish Perfect Storm.

Oh, and I am more than there for any original fic.
