I just dropped a 2GB SD-card. It made a Plop! sound, informing me it had hit the surface of the coffee, immediately followed by a Pling! sound when it reached the bottom of the mug

SD cards are extremely durable; that's why I like them.

Probably the only accounting that counts.

My first reaction was, Fuck!!! -- But now I know I can keep cool next time something similar happens. Tiny incidents like this one improve my life, as I monitor which of my fears were justified, and which weren't.

I just like them because they're tiny and nifty and durable. I've been known to gloat over mine. You can use them to make your own thumb drive, too.

Lost my 2gig SD card with my phone in the mud at http://www.oxegen.ie 2 weeks ago, really annoyed as it could fit 2500 pics on it. Insurance company replaced phone but not card... rarrr!
