it certainly is not! I am absolutely naked without my watches as well - like my wrist is aching for weight :D (or something nonsensical like that)

Yes totally, it feels weird using my hands without the familiar thingummy-around-wrist. Which is a bit strange actually because I don't like wearing bangles or bracelets much!

My watch broke in Barcelona, after serving me faithfully since... sec 2. *counts* That's like 9 years.

And since I was too lazy (and cheap) to shop for a new watch, I went from being a dailywatchwearer to a total nonwatchwearer. The naked feeling took about two weeks to go away. Funny how quickly we adjust...

Really? I still feel nekkid without a watch. And it's a bit irritating to have to constantly whip out my phone to check what time it is, because I always forget that there's usually a computer or wall-clock just round the corner in the hospital if I need to have a peek.

Aiyoh choichoichoi!! Not left, right and centre lah, just some of the time. And coincidentally at the same time, on occasion. When do I get to see you again? Think I get next Saturday off, hopefully! xx

Haha! Trust you to come up with that statement. :) Do you know of any cheapo watch shops around the Bishan/Upper Thomson area where I can get my strap fixed though? I just want a no-frills plain black rubber strap but without the bumpy Casio ridges, if you know what I mean.

try thomson plaza - there're some old watch shops there that can repair your watch.

Yep I took your advice and did just that! New old watch for 6 bucks, sweet.
