James Marsden: Interstate 60

Feb 18, 2008 00:49

After thoroughly enjoying "27 Dresses," I went home and watched "Interstate 60" again. I've watched this James Marsden movie several times now. A "road trip" movie. Also a comedy, a fantasy, and a coming-of-age movie.

Hey.

I couldn't help asking you something, if you wouldn't mind.

You watched "27 Dresses". And enjoyed it.

Frankly speaking, I'm afraid of watching it because I find it...upsetting...seeing James Marsden paired up/hooking up with anyone other than the "X-Men" character I'd like his character, Cyclops, have a relationship with. Even though, I know I'd like watching Katherine Heigl falling for Jimmy's character.

*gets weird looks from Rachel*

ZOMG I didn't just say that...!

Oh, yes, it's slightly odd to see an actor play one character when you are used to seeing him play another character. But only slightly. I think it's well worth giving JM's other movies a try. I have liked most of them, now that I think of it. Liked him in Hairspray, Enchanted. Really liked him in Superman Returns, Heights, The 24th Day, and Interstate 60.

Hey.

Yeah, it is. But I don't think that it's only "slightly" for me, I'm so freaked out that I don't want to watch.

I heard he sang in "Hairspray". Is that true?

Oh, if I'm going to watch Jimmy in a romantic comedy, or anything remotely romantic, I'd rather watch "27 Dresses". At least, in this movie he wins the heart of his ladylove.

Jezuz, I'm of two minds here. Damn, this is frustrating. No, don't bother replying me, I'm a lost cause, although thank you for replying me this time, Rachel.

Yes, I believe he did sing in Hairspray. And in Enchanted. He has an amazing voice. He sang in some episodes of Ally McBeal and I swear he sounded like Frank Sinatra. I think he could have gone far as a professional singer.
